Acute injury is studied in a novel mouse model of balloon injury. Experiments of chronic injury are performed in atherosclerotic mice using genetic and pharmacologic strategies. We also work on molecular imaging of vulnerable plaques taking advantage of invasive and non-invasive signal detection. |
